We are looking for an energetic, tech obsessed team member to join our Demand Generation Team as a Customer Support Representative (Lead Generation Specialist). In this role you'll be an important contact for many of our customers and prospective customers. You'll be able to quickly establish rapport and use your information gathering and problem-solving skills to connect Australian IT decision makers to our team of cloud and security experts. In this role you will:
Tertiary Qualification ideally Information & Communications Technology (ICT) or Business related
Minimum of 2 years B2B Tele sales experience
Intermediate Excel experience is essential.
Basic knowledge and exposure to any CRM tool (experience in Salesforce is an advantage).
Proven track record in sales appointment setting
Experience working directly with a marketing team
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Ability to speak to senior IT decision makers (ie CIOs, CFOs, IT Directors)
Can do attitude with an ability to provide ongoing interaction feedback (internally)
Accurate and timely in data management and CRM data hygiene
Demonstrated experience going above and beyond for a customer
Able to articulate basic technical attributes of Macquarie's offerings
Effective at conducting technology, market or prospect research
Salesforce Experience proficient in prospect management and reporting in Salesforce.
Experience in LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
