As a Customer Service Representative with Warehouse Experience, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling various aspects of customer service and warehouse operations. Your role will involve managing email and phone communications, coordinating inbound shipments, scheduling trucks, managing pallets, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse activities.
Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone calls promptly and professionally.- Provide accurate information about our services, shipping schedules, and warehouse operations.
Address and resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently.
Coordinate and schedule inbound shipments with suppliers and trucking services.
- Verify container contents and ensure accurate documentation.
Notify customers about shipment arrivals and any discrepancies.
- Truck Scheduling and Pallet Management:
Schedule trucks for pick-up and delivery according to warehouse capacity and customer requirements.- Manage pallet inventory and ensure optimal use of warehouse space.
Coordinate with trucking service providers for timely and efficient transportation.
- Warehouse Material Management:
Oversee the organization and storage of warehouse materials.
- Ensure proper labeling and tracking of inventory.
Conduct monthly pallet counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Handle outbound shipments, ensuring orders are processed and shipped accurately and on time.- Manage drop ship orders and LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipments.
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Container Verification and Customer Notification:
Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing containers.
- Notify customers about shipment statuses and any issues related to their orders.
Previous experience in customer service and warehouse operations is required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and customer service software.- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and shipments.
Experience with truck scheduling, pallet management, and LTL orders is preferred.
