Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Representative with billing experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, resolving billing issues, processing payments, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong understanding of billing processes and systems.
Customer Interaction:- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner.
Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and billing details.- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, escalating complex cases to the appropriate department when necessary.
Billing and Payments:- Process customer payments, refunds, and adjustments accurately.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Account Management:- Assist customers with account setup, updates, and cancellations.
Monitor and follow up on overdue accounts, implementing collection procedures as needed.- Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy.
Documentation and Reporting:- Prepare and maintain reports on customer interactions, billing issues, and resolutions.
Document all customer interactions and actions taken in the CRM system.- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve customer service processes and systems.
High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.- Proven experience as a customer service representative, preferably in a billing or finance-related role.
Strong understanding of billing procedures and payment processing.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other customer service tools.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
