Role Overview
PIC - Philippines, a Genus company, has an exciting opportunity. We are looking for a Project Based Customer Service Assistant to support the team in coordinating order and delivery process of PIC products during the company's transition to a new ERP system
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Consolidate Supply Chain's weekly availability forecast ad Sales forecast, flagging excess or shortfall of gilts and boars to Account Managers
- Coordinate updated orders with Contract Production Officers and multiplication farm staff
- Submit monthly forecast reports to internal and external customers
- Arrange timely and cost efficient mode of transport for PIC animals from source farms to customer farms or designated pick up points
- Track product movement from source farm to customer farm or designated pick up points. Advises key personnel of transport details (e.g. airway bill, tracking number, bill of lading)
- Provide month end transport cost on animal deliveries
- Continuously review different routes and modes of delivery available in the market and recommends the most cost efficient and effective ones
- Updates PIC Animals dispatch schedule database
- Process delivery providers billings
- Trains staff and audits processes of delivery providers to ensure compliance to PIC standards and other pertinent regulations
- Monitors contract and SLA compliance of delivery providers
- Submits PIC product order and delivery analytics
- Manages and updates breeder pack inventory
Requirements
- at least 2 years experience as logistics & transport officer, preferably in a logistics company
- Knowledge of the different mode of transport and delivery, technological advances and best practices in the field of logistics;
- Intermediate knowledge of MS office applications such as word, excel, powerpoint
- Willing to adopt flexible on working hours
- Willing to take on a six month project based position; project extension depends on the completion of system transition
- Willing to adopt hybrid work set up with three times a week onsite reporting
- Authorized to work in the Philippines without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate of logistics/transport or related course
