With at least 3 years work experience with resources planning, preferably in a maritime crewing environment and have experience with resource planning systems.- Strong communication skills and can talk to vessel crews with confidence and from a position of knowledge
With experience in tanker vessel is an advantage
- Knowledgeable in maritime law and regulations.
Good interpersonal skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Keeping abreast of all statutory manning regulations and any relevant changes
Establishing manning requirements through a solid manpower plan
- Verification of seafarer certification and qualifications
Screening and initial evaluation of candidates- Liaising with the relevant Superintendents/Managers for interview and approval of candidates
Establishment and management of a seafarer pool which can be drawn from to man managed vessels, support other operations in the region and new start-up projects and contracts
- Assist the Operations Manager in processing candidates
