As Credit Analyst Team Lead, you'll oversee daily operations, maintain service excellence, and ensure compliance with credit policies. This involves driving team productivity, managing credit approvals, and fostering a collaborative environment. Your leadership will be instrumental in managing credit risks and elevating the team's impact.

Shift: Night Shift (Shifting)

Work setup: Permanent WFH

Salary: PHP 40,000 to PHP 60,000

List of Responsibilities: Leading with Credit-ability

Supervision and Management

  • Lead a team of credit analysts, guiding daily operations and productivity.
  • Delegate and monitor assignments to ensure accurate and timely completion.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and set team goals aligned with department objectives.

Credit Approval and Analysis

  • Oversee credit risk assessments, analyze customer creditworthiness, and ensure adherence to policies.
  • Review and approve credit applications within authorized limits and recommend escalations.
  • Ensure the team's adherence to credit risk policies and make necessary adjustments.

Training and Development

  • Provide ongoing training on credit policies, risk management, and company procedures.
  • Identify skill gaps and work with team members to create development plans.
  • Foster growth through mentorship, coaching, and constructive feedback.

Process Improvement and Reporting

  • Identify inefficiencies in processes and implement productivity-enhancing changes.
  • Compile and present reports on credit applications, approvals, delinquencies, and team performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of escalation for complex customer issues, providing solutions.
  • Collaborate with departments (e.g., Collections, Customer Service) to resolve client concerns and boost satisfaction.

Qualifications Needed: Fintech Talent Required

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years in credit or risk management, with 2+ years experience as a Team Leader in a Credit Department
  • Skilled in managing a team of credit analysts to deliver high-quality credit services

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in credit assessment tools and software, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Knowledge of financial statements, creditworthiness principles, and regulatory requirements.

Leadership and Communication

  • Proven leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
  • Strong communicator, skilled in conflict resolution and decision-making.

Analytical Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities for risk assessment and data interpretation.
  • Detail-oriented and critical thinker, capable of implementing process improvements.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with team, clients, and other departments.
  • Customer-centric approach to resolving issues and queries.
