The Credit Risk Head handles the Credit and Environmental, Social, and Governance
(ESG) risk strategy and policies of the bank. He/she will collaborate with teams across the
organization to ensure risk policies are implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement credit risk management policies and procedures, ensuring they are in line with the organization's risk appetite and local regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risk policies that align with the organization's strategy and objectives.
- Embed sustainable finance principles across the organization, providing guidance and support to business units to ensure sustainability is integrated into their operations.
- Lead the development of credit risk and ESG related reports.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management and other stakeholders on credit risk and ESG matters.
- Oversee the drafting and revision of respective company policies and processes.
- Keep up to breast with industry events and regulations.
- Educate and train employees on credit risk and ESG regulations and industry practices.
Qualifications:
- College Graduate. Additional qualifications such as MBA, CFA, or CPA are preferred.
- 7 to 10 years professional experience in credit risk management practices. Preferably with a financial institution or financial technology company.
- Highly knowledgeable on ESG and Sustainable Finance topics.
