The CI Coordinator is primarily responsible for coordinating data gathering, uploading required information, credit investigation-related activities to ensure adherence to SLAs, and account maintenance of institutional customers. The Credit Investigator Coordinator manages the credit investigation process, ensures its accuracy and compliance with regulations, and coordinates credit investigations.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Prioritize tasks to ensure the timely completion of credit investigations.
- Review credit investigation reports to assess the accuracy and completeness of information gathered.
- Ensure that credit investigators follow standardized procedures and guidelines during investigations.
- Communicate with customers and stakeholders to gather required information, clarify discrepancies in information.
- Handle inquiries related to credit investigations.
- Ensure that all credit investigations are conducted in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain thorough and organized documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to discuss information-related issues and recommend solutions.
Skills and Qualifications
- Candidate must have at least Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- With at least 3-year experience/ exposure to banking and finance/ leasing company operations, and/or credit analysis
- Establish/maintain a network of contractual credit investigators
- Previous experience in credit investigations, credit analysis, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of credit evaluation processes
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to credit investigations.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ethical and trustworthy conduct, as credit investigators handle sensitive financial information.
- Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and changes in credit evaluation practices.
