Location: Harton, Paranaque

Your Role:

At all times applies the company's credit and collection policies, practices and procedures consistently to the customer base and adhere to Wilson Security credit policy.

Extension of Credit
. The actual granting of a credit facility can only be authorized by the Group Credit Manager, or Financial Controller. However, the Credit Controller will discuss with the Credit Team Leader when necessary, questionable or special requests for the availability of credit terms or arrangements beyond the established terms.
. Where the extension of credit beyond established terms is granted, the Credit Controller will be responsible for ensuring strict adherence to those terms.

Collections
Discuss delinquent accounts with the relevant sales personnel with the view to establishing causes and solutions.
. Contact customers who are outside or are nearing the credit terms, with the view to obtaining payment of the delinquent balances. The investigation and resolution of customer queries and disputes
. Refer unusual or difficult collection cases to the Credit Team Leader with complete details and recommended additional action.
. As required, obtain approval from the Credit Team Leader on the acceptance of compromise settlements, partial payments and time extensions.
. Make recommendations to the Credit Team Leader for involving a mercantile agent in the debt collection process.
. Ensure that each day all monies received are allocated in strict accordance with the customer's specific direction. Where there is uncertainty as to how receipts are to be applied an attempt must be made to resolve the same with the customer.
. Maximize cash flow and minimize debt across the business.

Reconciliations
. Whenever necessary, an account will be completely reconciled to ensure it accurately reflects what a customer owes.

Administration
. Assist with various administration requirements including, but not restricted to, daily banking downloads, database maintenance.


What You Need:
    • Relevant qualification in Finance or Accounting or a related field
    • Minimum 2+ years experience in an accounting
