Credit and Collection Head

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Collection Team Leader to oversee and guide our collections team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in collections, with strong leadership skills to manage a team, develop effective collection strategies, and ensure the successful recovery of outstanding debts.

• Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of collection agents, providing training, support, and performance feedback.

• Develop and implement effective collection strategies to improve recovery rates.

Monitor and analyze team performance metrics, setting goals and targets to drive success.

• Handle complex or high-value accounts, negotiating payment arrangements and solutions.

Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to debt collection.

• Prepare and present regular reports on collection activities and performance to senior management.

• Qualifications:

Proven experience in collection, with a strong track record of success.

• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a collections environment.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.

Proficiency in collection software and tools.
