POSITION SUMMARYAssesses the credit risk and viability of potential and existing clients, as well as establishes their current credit limit. Analyzes customer financial statements pertaining to a credit line application and provides financial guidance for order management support with supply chains and marketing units to control credit use while minimizing disputes and upholding effective payment.
Assist in assessing credit risk and establishing credit limits.
- Analyze customer financial statements.
Provide financial assessment for management support and Sales and Marketing personnel to control credit exposure, effect timely payment, and minimize the risk of customer disputes.- Conduct collection calls and engage with approved contractors for customer visits to collect Accounts Receivables when necessary.
Negotiate customer disputes to resolve them and document the root causes.
- Provide customer service and develop relationships with internal/external customers and suppliers.
Maintained accurate credit files and collection files. Maintain electronic records for each customer account.- Ensures and complies with the company and departmental policies and procedures.
Participate in major department projects and actively participate in cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements, processes, and initiatives.
- Actively participates and communicates in the team-based work groups that make up the Credit Department.
- QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
- Ability to balance multiple projects at once.
Minimum of 3 years in a finance environment, preferably in revenue management operations, credit, and collection.- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
