Job Summary/Purpose: To ensure that all Travelling Cranes are operational and conforms to safety and quality standards.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adheres to company policies and procedures including Safety and Housekeeping.
- Monitor performance of travelling cranes.
- Perform regular condition monitoring. Identify problems, recommend and take necessary corrective action.
- Inform the immediate superior regarding abnormalities in the performance or operation of travelling cranes as well as the action taken.
- Coordinates the activities of crane maintenance with other departments.
- Maintain and repair travelling cranes in accordance with superior's instruction, engineering standards or manufacturer's specification.
- See to it that maintenance activities / schedule are properly performed on time and recorded.
- Make sure that spare parts are always available. Informs the immediate superior about parts and consumables that needs to be purchased
- Ensure that tools and equipment are complete, cleaned, and returned to proper place after use.
- See to it that the assigned and working area are cleaned and orderly.
- Provide support to other members of the department.
- Perform other duties that may assign by immediate superior.
- Qualifications:
- Graduate of any 2 years Electrical or Electronics Technology Courses or Graduate of Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- Preferably with related work experience as Technician
- Knowledgeable in industrial plant safety, maintenance and troubleshooting
