We are seeking a
versatile Engineering generalist with a passion for education to join our Digital Learning team. This academic role offers an exciting opportunity to combine your technical expertise with a desire to contribute to the development of high-quality educational content in the growing micro-credential field.
To enhance your professional development, we may provide funding for a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. This qualification could equip you to deliver our accredited vocational courses relevant to your expertise.
Reporting to the Digital Learning Manager, you will provide a specialist service by working collaboratively with EIT staff as well as external writers, subject matter experts and industry to assist in developing engineering course content for programs within the micro-credential space. You will identify, collate, curate and/or coordinate the development of course materials in line with our course development processes and procedures.
- Course Development Support
Assist in compiling micro-credential course outlines and conducting research for new course offerings.- Assist in the creation of micro-credential materials where possible.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and writers to ensure accurate and up-to-date content.
- 2. Content Quality Assurance
Act as a liaison between writers and the Digital Learning Team
- Perform quality checks on new and existing course materials, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Maintain and update the writer database, ensuring efficient collaboration and communication.
Coordinate with writers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of course materials.- Monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines are met for content development and review processes.
- 4. Curriculum Review and Maintenance
Participate in the review and auditing of professional certificates and micro-credential programs.- Ensure the currency and alignment of course content with industry standards and emerging trends.
Opportunity to teach accredited modules or courses in our Vocational Education programs (VET)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in engineering or a related field.
Experience in teaching, training, or curriculum development is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.

Pay: Php553.00 per hour
