Perform essential LMS and Course Assistant duties, including but not limited to the following:
Course Material Preparation - Assisting in the preparation
- Record-Keeping - Managing course-related records
Communication - Handling course-related communication
Lecture Assistance - Helping with the setup and operation of classroom technology- Discussion Sections - Leading or assisting with discussion
Office Hours - Holding regular office hours to provide additional support
Grading - Assist with the grading of student papers
- Feedback - Providing constructive feedback
Tutoring - Offering individual or group tutorial sessions to help students understand course material
- Advising - Providing academic guidance and support to students, helping them navigate course requirements and expectations.
- Technology and Resource Management
Learning Management Systems - Managing the course's online presence, including updating content and monitoring student activity on platforms like Blackboard, Moodle, or Canvas
- Resource Coordination - Coordinating and maintaining course resources such as textbooks, library materials, and online resources.
