Position Overview:
The Wadhwani Foundation is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial-minded individual to serve as the Wadhwani Skilling Network Leader in Philippines. This pivotal role will be responsible for spearheading the Skilling Network project, which aims to empower students to acquire and advance in jobs through training, workshops, and vocational guidance. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the educational sector, adept at driving talent development and leading large-scale project operations across the country.
Responsibilities:
- Development: Proven expertise in developing channels within educational institutes and employee networks. Experience working with Technical Training Programs (TTP), Vocational Institutes of Technology (VIT), and government entities.
- Technology Deployment: Demonstrated proficiency in deploying content technology solutions within the education and skilling sector.
- in Skilling EdTech Platform Organizations: Extensive background in working with skilling and education technology platforms, facilitating effective learning experiences.
- Management: Strong capability in team leadership and management, guiding and motivating diverse teams to achieve project objectives.
- Connection: Established connections and experience working with government agencies and officials, navigating regulatory frameworks and fostering productive relationships.
- Planning: Develop comprehensive expansion plans for the Skilling Network program nationwide, identifying key areas for growth and strategic partnerships.
- Achievement: Set and achieve periodic Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) determined by the company, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Insights: Utilize analytical skills to propose improvements to management models, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of project operations.
- Development: Drive the business into the Philippines market, with a focus on reaching a majority of students to provide assistance and nurture their talent.
- Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders across various sectors to address the employability skills needs of students and professionals.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in education, Skilling, Consulting & Edtech with a deep understanding of the education market, platforms, and emerging products.
- Results-Oriented: Possess a growth mindset with a results-based approach to work, demonstrating a track record of achieving targets and driving success.
- Leadership Skills: Exhibit autonomy, proactivity, and strong leadership abilities, capable of leading teams and driving initiatives independently.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
