Costing Engineer / Drawing

EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT & WORK EXPERIENCE:

Graduate of Industrial Technology Major in Electrical, Graduate of Electrical Technology or Autocad Courses. At least 2 years experience in Electrical Costing and Evaluation.

Maximum : more than 3 years experience in Electrical Costing and Evaluation

• SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Logical and reasoning skills in identifying relative cost of a project, computer literate, analytical and organizational skills.

Minimum : Good Analytical and Organizational Skills, Computer Literate, Extensive experience in Electrical Drawing Interpretation

Maximum : Good Analytical and Organizational Skills, Computer Literate, Extensive experience in Electrical Drawing Interpretation, Time Management Skill, Technical (Electrical Components) Skill

• SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

Responsible in estimating costs for product manufacturing, construction projects or services to aid management in bidding or determining price of product.

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Takes into account factors such as; labor cost, material cost, equipment rental, manufacturing locations, facility cost and necessary permits and licensing.
  

• Analyzes blue prints and other documentation to prepare time, cost materials and labor estimates
  

• Assess costs effectiveness of products, project or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
  

• Deals with sales engineers, contractors & sub-contractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
  

• Set-up lost monitoring and report systems and procedures.
  

• Estimates project based on given load schedules.
  

• Prepares bid requirements. Constructs additive-deductive terms based on project revisions.
  

• Prepare drawing proposal. Drawing proposal according to approved cost proposal
