- Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize construction drawing software for detailed quantity takeoffs and analyze project specifications for scope and requirements for waterworks estimates.
- Prepare comprehensive waterworks cost estimates and collaborate with teams to ensure competitiveness.
Generate detailed bid proposals and collaborate closely with bid teams.- Establish relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
Effectively utilize project management software for communication and progress tracking.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on estimating activities.
Collaborate with stakeholders and communicate effectively to ensure project alignment and clarity.
- Required Skills, Abilities, Qualifications:
Proven experience as an estimator for large-scale, industrial waterworks projects.- Proficiency in construction drawing software.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes for waterworks infrastructure.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with relevant takeoff and project management software.
Ability to work US hours, with flexibility once independently working in the role dependent on client preferences.
