Responsibilities:- Establish and manage project budgets, ensuring they align with company objectives and financial targets.
Oversee the preparation and maintenance of detailed project budgets, including development, capital expenditures, and contingency plans.- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies and policies to control costs effectively.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including cost reports, variance analysis, and forecasts.
- Communicate the financial status, risks, and opportunities of projects to executives.
Present financial reports and analyses to project managers and senior management, offering insights and recommendations for optimizing cost management.- Identify financial risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Project Team to develop project-specific mitigation plans.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to the cost control team, including training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications:- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
At least 5-7 years of substantial experience in cost control and project management, ideally within the construction industry or similar industry.
- Proficiency in advanced financial software and project management tools.
