Title: Cost Accounting Specialist
The
Cost Accounting Specialist is responsible for reviewing financial, balance sheet accounts, conducting variance analysis, standard costing, transfer pricing, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Reviews significant variance on major profit & loss and balance sheet accounts.
- Updates system set-up of standard cost and transfer price table.
- Gathers and maintains actual data on manpower costs and operations provision.
- Participates in cross-functional projects within supply chain and provides insights on financial impact.
- Gathers, validates, and processes data using financial analysis tools.
- Gathers, organizes, and maintains historical data related to budget preparation and identifies one time-off and recurring transactions.
- Gathers and maintains current and historical financial data needed in the preparation of financial reports.
- Track internal order of the capital expenditure and conducts inventory count.
Job Qualifications
- A graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent courses.
- With at least six (6) months of relevant cost management/accounting and/or product cost management experience.
- Knowledgeable in Management Accounting, Cost Accounting and Supply Chain Management.
- Primarily office based with occasional field work due to interaction with other units on cross functional projects and initiatives.
- Must be amenable to work in Danao City, Cebu.
