• About the role

Prepares daily Job closing as well as closing of job close batches for TMA Philippines

• Working closely with production staff and provide financial and commercial support and training

Making sure that floor transactions are captured accurately and recorded in the system on a daily basis including closing of the batches

• Closing the completed jobs in the system and working out variances, discussing those variances with production staff and reporting those variances

Working with Logistics Manager on stocktake activities, stock adjustment in the system and reason for any stock variances

• Preparing inventory (material, work in progress and finished goods) valuation at month end

Ensuring sufficient controls and procedures are in place to warrant that procurement, storage and usage of stocks are accurately captured and recorded

• Working closely with Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly management reports for head office

Maintains item master data in Monarch

• Handles inquiry related to Inventory/Costing transactions

Documents accounting procedure for standardization of Accounting Policy

• Provide management with financial analysis on projects and other cost reduction programs

Recommends improvement on production and financial aspects

• Assist and provide Country and Operations Manager on queries and projects with regards to Margin Analysis and CAPEX

Provides schedules to Auditors in relation to inventory and Gross Margin

• Any other duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time

• What you need to have

You will be resilient and show incredible leadership skills. You will also have:

• Bachelor's Degree

2-4+ years post qualification experience in accounting

• Advance proficiency in relevant accounting software)

With strong background in Cost Accounting

• With experience in manufacturing

Highly organized with a high attention to detail

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial computations and records maintenance

Experience in developing financial models and providing decision support in a complex organization.

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, or Commerce

Experience using a large ERP system is essential preferably SAP.
