CORROSION ENGINEER

The job holder is responsible for monitoring material performance and evaluating material deterioration. He/she will develop and maintain the Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) program for all static equipment and piping in the JGSOC plants. He/she will study the properties of various materials and seek ways to improve their characteristics. This role also involves analyzing material failure data and test results to determine the causes of problems and develop solutions based on applicable codes and standards.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer or Metallurgical Engineer
• 5 to 7 years work experience in the Oil/Gas and Petrochemical Industry
• Deep knowledge and understanding of corrosion program and analysis
• Excellent understanding of API 510/570/581/571, ASME Section VIII
• Knowledgeable of International codes and standards
• Good communication and interpersonal relations skills
• Willing to work in Batangas City; 100% work-on-site
