The role will be responsible for:
- Liaises with external lawyers to ensure that agreements and legal documents are promptly acted upon
Investigate, prepare, and submit evidence and documents as required by the eternal lawyers necessary to address company issues.- Gathers and analyses legal and factual research data, such as statutes, decisions, and legal articles, codes, and documents.
Identifies relevant judicial decisions, statutes, legal articles, codes, and other pertinent materials.
- Cross-checks and validates any disclosed confidential information.
Monitors, reviews, and advises on legal documents including proposals, contracts, legal opinions, and legal agreements by and between the company, suppliers, clients, consultants, agents, employees, contractors, brokers and customers.- Drafts and prepares articles of incorporation, by-laws and other documents necessary for company registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Drafts, prepares, and submits legal opinions concerning employees of the company.
- Prepares and reviews contracts that are related, necessary, and incidental to the nature or business of the company.
Performs legal research necessary to address issues that may arise in the Company occasionally.- Monitors, reviews, and updates the management on new, updated, and amended laws and regulations that may affect the nature or business of the company.
Prepares and reviews letters and correspondence on any problems or concerns requiring legal opinions.
- Attends and reports in Mancom/Execom meetings.
Prepares, and serves notifications to the Board- Monthly Board Meetings -prepare meeting takeaways, and keep corporate records.
Coordinates and ensures that all Board Papers are circulated within a reasonable period.
- Measures, values, submits, and negotiates contract variations.
Provides advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters, including reviewing and drafting correspondence.- Performs monthly evaluations of contractors billing.
Ensures that all documents comply with the laws and other statutory rules and regulations.
- Assists in preparation and adherence to project purchasing targeting and costing budgets.
Prepares legal opinions and advises the management or administration on general issues that may arise occasionally.- Handles and protects confidential, highly confidential, and top-secret Company files and documents.
Graduate of Political Science, Philosophy or Legal Management- At least 1 year of work experience in the same industry like architectural design, real estate, or construction
With a strong personality and critical thinking skills
- Knowledgeable in handling contracts, corporate law, obligations, and labor laws
Excellent oral and written communication skills- Must be amenable to work onsite in MOA Complex, Pasay City
