Proven experience as a Corporate Communication Officer or similar role in a healthcare or hospital environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex medical information into clear, accessible language.
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans and strategies aligned with the hospital's mission, vision, and strategic goals.
- Manage internal communications to ensure staff are informed about hospital initiatives, policies, and updates.
- Cultivate relationships with local media outlets, healthcare partners, and community stakeholders to promote the hospital's services and achievements.
- Write and edit press releases, articles, newsletters, and other communications materials.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare responses to manage the hospital's public image effectively.
- Organize press conferences, media briefings, and promotional events to highlight hospital services and advancements.
- Collaborate closely with clinical departments and hospital administration to ensure accurate and timely communication of medical breakthroughs, patient stories, and other relevant news.
- Manage the hospital's social media presence, engaging with the community and enhancing brand visibility.
- Develop and maintain crisis communication plans and protocols, ensuring the hospital is prepared to respond to emergencies and sensitive issues.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies using analytics and feedback to continuously improve outreach efforts.
