Job Description- Preparing and cooking dishes according to menu specifications.
Ensuring meals are prepared in a timely manner.- Follow recipes accurately and cook food in a timely manner.
Must know appropriate methods to use for different types of food.
- Familiarity with sanitation regulations.
Preparing and completing menu that will satisfy our guests.- Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment, like knives, pans and kitchen scales.
Informing staff of daily meals.
- Ensure appealing food presentation
Monitor food stock and place orders- Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Culinary or any related course (Vocational course in Food and Beverages is an advantage)
- At least 2 years experience in a restaurant, catering services or related field.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by te demands of the restaurant. No criminal Record
