A Controller manages the Accounting & Finance teams of the companies he supports. He provides finance advisory support, helps craft company budgets, ensures accounting functions run smoothly, and oversees the design & implementation of internal controls.
- Safeguards and maximizes return on assets as a whole by establishing and implementing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
- Guides financial decisions across the companies he supports by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting periodic control self-assessments and cooperating with Internal Audit
- Works with the Group Controller in ensuring the business units compliance with internal revenue rules and regulations and other laws or statutes that may -pose significant compliance risks to the business units.
Works with the general managers in driving, formulating, and ensuring compliance with tactical and strategic planning systems.
- Apprises management on the financial results and condition of business units by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
- At least 2 to 4 years experience as Controller.
