Qualifications:

Job Description/Summary
- Ensures all financial transactions are timely and accurately recorded in the university's books in accordance with the generally accepted accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Ensures compliance with financial regulatory requirements (BIR, SEC, LGU, etc.).
- Ensures all financial transactions are timely and accurately reported to aid the university's decision-making and to align them with the needs of various stakeholders (funding agency, accreditor, regulator, etc.).
- Ensures the efficient and effective management of payables, receivables, and taxes.
- Analyzes and interprets the financial results to the management and other stakeholders and gives recommendations on how to achieve a certain objective.
- Develops accounting policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial information.
- Identifies, manages, and communicates financial and other risks to the management and other stakeholders.
- Leads the Finance and Accounting Office.
- Assists the Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer for any accounting related matters.
