The Marketing & Communications Consultant (Content) is primarily responsible for supporting CGI's APAC Marketing & Communications Team in developing CGI branded internal and external materials that are aligned with our local and global strategies.
Copywriting and proofreading
- Learn and understand the CGI Brand guidelines and its periodic updates to ensure that collateral delivered adheres to CGI's writing standards.
- Business writing for memos, long-form announcements, and press releases.
- Relevant copywriting for internal and external CGI materials that promote our talent branding and strategic initiatives.
- End-to-end delivery or consultation with CGI-accredited vendors of different brand-aligned copies for digital and physical promotional materials, and, as needed, facility or venue branding.
- Coordinate with Creatives to ensure that both copy and design for final outputs are cohesive and brand-aligned.
- Rework non-branded materials to align with the CGI Brand guidelines.
- Publish information on internal and external platforms (CGI Intranet, MS Teams, social media).
Measures include
- Messages are clear, concise, and use the CGI tone of voice.
- Grammar, spelling, and punctuation are correct and appropriate.
- Details, format, and the overall output are correct, brand-aligned, and approved before publishing.
- Number of revisions required before the final output.
Other responsibilities
- Support the Marketing & Communications Manager in managing stakeholders.
- Coordinate with the Global Marketing & Communications Team for communication plans and workspace requirements as needed.
- Develop effective communication plans for campaigns that promote CGI's local and global strategies.
- Manage the reporting of readership and engagement rates of internal newsletters.
- Track and monitor requests received from stakeholders via a ticketing tool or generic mailboxes.
- Update team SharePoint workspaces diligently.
- Attendance to team-level, country or regional-level, and global-level meetings as required.
- Completion of training modules and globally mandated activities requiring employee input.
- Other duties as assigned by the business, or the Marketing & Communications Manager, related to CGI's business.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Organizational Communication, Integrated Marketing & Communications, Communication Arts, or other related courses.
- At least one (1) year of experience in content development for a corporation and handling social media content.
- Intermediate English skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge in A.I applications that support copywriting primarily Grammarly, ChatGPT, etc.
- Basic to advanced knowledge in the design and layout functions of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Keen eye for detail and a strong sense of commitment to deadlines.
