As a Content Marketing Manager, your primary responsibility centres around strategically planning and executing content marketing campaigns. You will be the gatekeeper for all content produced by the team, leveraging on content to achieve marketing goals, including not limited to brand awareness, acquisition, and boosting conversions.
Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
Manage the editorial calendar and ensure content team is on board
Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to analyse and increase web traffic and users engagement metrics
Create and publish engaging content
Edit, proofread and improve content writers deliverables and liaise with content writers to ensure brand consistency
Drive SEO in content creation and ensure SEO best practices are properly observed in all articles
Collaborate with the SEO team to recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection)
Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience's attention
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, and other relevant fields
Proven SEO experience or as a Content marketing manager.
Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing and knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of creatives
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
