PURPOSE OF THE POSITION - To ensure proper recording and checking of all chassis and container van in and out.
- Duties and Responsibilities
To ensure a detailed inspection of all incoming and outgoing chassis and container.
To ensure proper notation for any exceptional remarks on EIR (Equipment Interchange Receipt) found upon inspection or survey.
To report any irregularities found during the inspection and creates necessary Job Order request based on the result of the inspection.
Coordinates with maintenance team on Job Order issuance.
Ensure to tag all chassis with Job Oder (for PMS, for repair, for off hire)
Conducts chassis inventory every after shift.
To ensure proper segregation of available and for repair chassis inside the container yard for proper monitoring and identification.
To assist and support Dispatchers on chassis requirement.
To secure all accomplished EIR's for turn over to CY encoder.
Provide updates and accomplishments to management on a regular basis.
Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND / WORK EXPERIENCES
High School Graduate or equivalent with vocational trainings in automotive repairs
Has more than two (2) years of experience in repair and service of light & heavy equipment vehicles including trucks
Has a good or sound physical condition to successfully perform the essential functions
Exhibits professionalism and ethical behavior.
Clearly conveys information and able to get the message across all levels.
Displays exemplary customer service skills.
Able to work and collaborate as a member of the team in order to achieve goals.
Self-motivated and always ready to get things done.
Works with accuracy and keen attention to details.
Flexible, approachable, committed and dedicated to provide support and service towards internal and external customers.

With basic knowledge in telephone etiquette.
Can work independently with minimal supervision.

Knowledgeable in standard container and chassis inspection.
