Qualifications- Licensed Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineer/Architect
Minimum of 10 years managerial experience of Program / Project / Construction Team / works
- Key duties/responsibilities of Development Manager:
Administrate the Design Phases of all projects ensuring the appointment of all appropriate consultants necessary for each project.
- Monitor progress of design of projects to ensure they meet all agreed deadlines.
Review architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are being followed.- Work with the Cost Manager and Procurement Manager to develop a cost-effective budget, schedule and tracking system for completion of multiple projects following a logical pattern for utilization of resources.
Oversee selection and coordination of Main Contractor, Sub Contractors and Suppliers, working on various phases of multiple projects.
- Responsible for proper administration of construction contracts, and for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses.
Track and control construction schedules and associated costs to achieve completion of projects within time and monies allocated.- Supervise the Site Engineers in managing the General Contractor and schedules related to the day-to-day construction aspects of projects. Review progress reports, check on any reported difficulties, and correct any safety violations or other reported deficiencies.
