Overview: We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to work with our team and plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects, including food and beverage facilities, fit-out constructions, clinics, pharmacies, and laboratories, from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
- Oversee construction activities; ensure adherence to construction schedules, quality standards, and project deadlines.
Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements- Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
- Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities- Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed.
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports; present the status reports to the Project Manager.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Evaluate and assess bids and project cost in light of independent estimates and available data.- Perform Ad hoc tasks as required by the management
Project material and labor quantity estimation.
Licensed Architect or Civil Engineer (PRC)
- Proven experience as construction manager (Minimum of 5 years of construction experience)
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles- Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
Good knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to use ERP software (such as Netsuite, SAP etc) for material ordering/approvals, project management and timekeeping.
Ability to use Microsoft Teams.- Familiarity with construction/ project management software
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
A team player with leadership abilities- PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage
Preferred:- 5 years of construction experience
3 years Construction Management experience
