Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of project plans, including scope, budget, and timeline.

  • Evaluate project feasibility and provide recommendations to optimize project outcomes.

  • Conduct site assessments to determine project requirements, potential challenges, and necessary permits.

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to the construction process.

  • Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

  • Liaise with local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.

  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.

  • Communicate effectively to manage expectations and resolve any issues that arise.

  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure construction work meets the required standards.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and compliance.

  • Monitor project budgets and expenses.

  • Provide cost estimates and assist in the negotiation of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

  • Implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, reports, and correspondence.

  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.

  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff and construction workers.

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
  • Qualifications, Skills & Experience:*

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction consulting, project management, or a related role within the local area.

  • In-depth knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices. Familiarity with project management software and tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Willing to travel locally and internationally.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
