Job Description:

As a Compliance Specialist, Data Privacy, you will champion data protection efforts, develop robust policies, and drive compliance with global standards. This role ensures seamless integration of privacy measures into business processes while fostering a culture of data protection awareness.

• Assist the Data Protection Officer in ensuring effective and efficient Data Protection Office operations.
  
• Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies and procedures.
  
• Conduct regular data protection audits and impact assessments.
  
• Monitor and ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., Data Privacy Act of 2012, GDPR, etc.).
  
• Investigate and respond to data breaches and security incidents.
  
• Collaborate with IT and legal teams to integrate data protection measures into all business processes.
  
• Provide training and guidance to employees on data protection best practices.
  
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data protection.
  
• Review and update Data Protection documentation regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance with current standards.
  
• Serve as the first point of contact for all data protection queries.
  
• Maintain the data privacy and protection registry.
  

Requirements

The Qualifications We Seek

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Data Protection and Compliance.
  
• Proven expertise in policy writing and documentation.
  
• In-depth knowledge of regulations like GDPR and the Data Privacy Act of 2012.
  
• Data protection certifications (a plus but not mandatory).
  
• Proficiency in document management systems and tools.
  
• Policy writing and documentation experience.
  
• Strong understanding of data protection regulations.
