Duties and Responsibilities:
- Internal audit function - conduct compliance testing to ensure company is compliant to all government regulations.
Compliance areas - Data Privacy Act, Anti-Money Laundering Act, Financing Companies Act, FCPA, BIR and SEC Regulations. Monitor developments in the different areas of compliance.- Policy development - analyze results of compliance testing and recommend actions to improve compliance level to minimize legal risk of the company.
Review and revision of company manuals based on the results of testing and prevailing government regulations.
- Review contract from time to time to ensure that all company engagements are compliant to company policies.
Work directly under the supervision of the Internal Corporate Lawyer of the company.
Qualifications:- Bachelors Degree in Legal Management, Political Science, AB English, Business Management, or Accounting
At least 3-year experience in the field of legal compliance or internal audit
- Strong reading comprehension and writing skills
* Statutory constructions skills
- Analyze government regulations and issuances in relation to company internal processes
