Job Summary
- The Manager, Compliance will enhance Ventra's compliance program and will be responsible for providing oversight and support of Ventra's compliance policies, procedures, training programs and controls to help ensure the company's compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Essential Functions And Tasks
- Drafting, updating, implementing, managing, and enforcing the company's compliance plan and all relevant compliance policies and procedures.
- Preparing compliance training materials, coordinating rollout of compliance training to new and existing employees and applicable contractors, and ensuring completion of trainings by Ventra team members.
- Coordinating rollout and training on new or updated policies and directives when required.
- Helping drive culture of compliance throughout the company, including development of compliance communication strategy.
- Day-to-day management of Ventra's compliance hotline and incident tracking system.
- Managing investigations on all compliance incidents and issues.
- Conducting research on laws and regulations affecting the company.
- Providing timely advice and leadership to stakeholders in relation to compliance issues and inquiries.
- Preparing materials for Compliance Committee meetings.
- Reporting on compliance issues and incidents to Compliance Committee.
Education And Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 5 years experience in healthcare compliance.
- Compliance certification (or will become certified within 1 year).
- Working knowledge and experience with HIPAA, OIG compliance and U.S. healthcare fraud and abuse laws.
- Revenue cycle management, coding, or other healthcare operations experience in Radiology, Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine and/or Hospital Medicine is strongly preferred.
