What you'll be doing:
- Ensures the company's compliance with the applicable Philippine regulatory compliance matters.
- Maintains good public relations with entities such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Philippine Finance Association, AMLC, and other regulatory bodies.
- Keeps updated with the laws and regulations that would impact the company's operations, internally and externally.
- Performs routine checks to ensure the company's adherence to applicable laws and regulations
What you'll need to bring:
- Bachelor's degree holder, any audit/finance/banking-related course.
- At least five (5) years of related work experience as a COMPLIANCE MANAGER in a financial institution.
- Extensive background in overseeing acquisitions and renewals of permits/licenses with different government agencies.
- Having a legal background is a PLUS.
- Strong background in different rules and regulations of governing authorities (e.g., BIR, AMLC, SEC, etc.)
- Licensed Lawyer
