Job Description

As a Compliance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our global compliance framework, focusing on KYC/AML onboarding processes. Your work will ensure regulatory excellence while contributing to a diverse and innovative financial team.

Job Overview

Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Work Setup: Permanent Work from Home

Your Daily Tasks
  • Onboard entities in compliance with applicable AML policy requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain KYC files.
  • Update and manage the customer database.
  • Conduct open-source research and review documents provided by new and existing clients.
  • Create clear and concise ownership and control overviews for each client record.
  • Stay updated on UK regulations and upcoming changes, flagging any potential impacts.
  • Proactively manage workload while balancing competing priorities and stakeholder demands.
  • Prioritize the onboarding of new entities alongside ongoing team projects.
  • Perform periodic KYC reviews to ensure compliance.
  • Understand the transactions being onboarded and the services provided, escalating any issues not in line with policy.
  • Conduct WorldCheck screening and ongoing client monitoring.
  • Maintain and update internal procedural documents.
  • Perform quality control checks on peers cases.

Requirements

The Qualifications We Seek

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of AML experience.
  • Demonstrated ability as a self-starter with an entrepreneurial business focus.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal (in English).
  • Proven strong time-management skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage priorities effectively while balancing competing demands and tight deadlines.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of KYC and AML processes, especially onboarding entities across diverse jurisdictions with varied risk considerations.
  • Up-to-date understanding of regulatory requirements and their applications.
  • Strong knowledge of complex corporate entity types and their structures.
  • Well-rounded expertise in KYC operations.
  • Ability to identify red flags and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Understanding of Debt Capital Markets and Restructuring/Bankruptcy (advantageous but not required).
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Capability to excel in a fast-paced environment while being responsive to client needs.
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to interact purposefully and constructively with a variety of clients.
  • Highly organized with a can-do attitude.
  • Proactive thinker and planner with a strong work ethic.
