Job Description

Job Summary:

The Compensation Benefits Specialist is responsible for managing and administering the company's compensation and benefits programs for the Manila office. This role ensures that the company's benefits structures are competitive, fair, and aligned with the overall HR strategy. The specialist will also work on benefits planning, compliance, payroll coordination, and support the Philippines office in driving initiatives related to employee total rewards.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in compensation and benefits administration, preferably in a SMB shared services environment.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and local labor laws.
  • Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Experience with payroll and benefits administration systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • In-charge of the accurate payroll processing of employees.
  • Prepares payroll report after payroll pay out.
  • In-charge of the processing of exit clearances and exit interviews of outgoing employees.
  • In-charge of payroll and billing reconciliation.
  • Facilitates processing of payments and remittances of statutory benefits of employees (SSS, PHIC, HDMF, W tax- year end annualization).
  • Facilitates enrolment and monitoring of company-initiated benefits (HMO, GLI, Leave).
  • Checking, monitoring and processing of HMO and GLI billing.
  • Prepares 201 file of new hires and encoding it in the system.
  • Monitors and updates employee master list.

Working Conditions:

  • On-Site work arrangement with 5 days a week requirement in the BGC office.
  • Regular office hours (night shift), with flexibility as needed to support payroll cycles or urgent compensation and benefits tasks.
