JOB SUMMARYThe Compensation and Payroll Officer is responsible for calculating employees salaries, overtime earnings, fringe benefits and separation pay. Ensures accurate and timely payment of salaries. Checks and verifies attendance records, offsetting and all payroll deductions. Ensures company benefit employee availments are in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
- DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for timekeeping of attendance records of employees.
- Prepares Violation Reports and draft of disciplinary action for employees with infractions against company rules and regulations on attendance and timekeeping. Endorses to Operations Lead and HR Director for checking before issuance to concerned employees.
- Keeps track of probationary employment status and promotion status of employees. Issues Performance Evaluation Forms to Functional Heads on a timely basis.
- Enrolls regularized and promoted employees to benefits that are due to them.
- Issues Performance Appraisal Forms in time for the annual review of salaries. Prepares worksheets for approval of Management.
- Prepares and analyzes comparative proposals and utilization for medical insurance on a timely basis prior to the expiration of the contract.
- Manages enrollment and deletion of employees in medical insurance and group life/ accident insurance.
- Updates leave balances of employees for easy monitoring.
- Enrolls newly hired employees to SSS, HDMF and Philhealth. Processes SSS, Philhealth and HDMF benefits and loan applications. Keeps track and monitors loan payments of SSS and HDMF.
- Facilitates processing of company loan application. Monitors payment and reconciles payments versus outstanding loan balances on a regular basis.
- Prepares government remittances reports, requests payment, and uploads them in in the designated government portal.
- Checks application of withholding tax, SSS, HDMF and Philhealth premium payments to employee salaries and fringe benefits.
- Payroll
- Reconciles Daily Time Records (DTR), Attendance Summary and Payroll Register of employees. Facilitates payroll adjustments when necessary. 2. In-charge of the end-to-end processing of payroll. 3. Computes for the 13th month pay and Sick Leave (SL) encashment of employees and facilitates its release. 4. In-charge of in-house disbursement of salaries through online transfer (generating and uploading). 5. Prepares deposit slips, wire transfers and other bank transactions. 6. Generates summary reports on (1) SSS PRN and STL (2) HDMF contribution and loan payments and (3) Philhealth Statement of Premium Account. 7. Responsible in computing the last pay of separated employees. 8. Facilitates processing of government mandated SSS and HDMF benefits and loans. 9. Facilitates Philhealth contribution certificates to employees when needed. 10. Checks payroll and other accountabilities of departing employees and deducts these to the last pay of departing employees. Computes for the unpaid salary, proportionate 13th month pay, tax refund, unused leaves and separation pay in the employee.
- QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Psychology, Human Resources or similar field.- With at least 3 -5 years solid experience in similar role.
Proficiency in handling HRIS and computerized payroll system
- Proficiency in MS Office Word and Excel spreadsheets.
Knowledgeable in processing of government-mandated benefits.- Numerate and with strong analytical, time management and leadership skills. Keen eye for details.
With proven ability to handle confidential information.

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php32,000.00 per month
