  • What we're looking for

We're looking for an efficient Compensation and Benefits Specialist who can assist the People Operations Culture Department on meeting the changing needs and expectations of the workforce and the broader market. The people operations specialist is expected to have adequate legal knowledge, tech-savvy, analytical and good problem-solving skills.
  • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Compensation and Benefits:
  • Prepare and process timekeeping for all UNMG employees every pay period;
Maintain accurate records and files within the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and its components;
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records;
Monitor and stay informed about government regulations, legislation, and benefit trends;
  • Ensure that compensation and benefits practices comply with current laws and regulations;
Administer timely and accurate payment of government loans and remittances (SSS, PHIC, & Pag-ibig);
  • Maintain accurate records of government remittance receipts and other government-related documents;
Assist employees with benefits claim issues, process and administer government and organizational benefits (e;g;, Maternity & Paternity leave, bereavement, mandated government leaves, and loans);
  • Submit enrollments and disengagements of new/separated employees to related government offices (SSS, PHIC, & HDMF);
Prepare and present monthly or quarterly reports to management;
  • Review operating practices and implement improvements as necessary;

  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships with team members and other departments to facilitate the mutual accomplishment of organizational goals;
Contribute to the team effort by sharing knowledge and assisting colleagues as needed; and

  • Perform other related tasks as assigned from time to time.
  • Educational Background and Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least two (2) year of proven experience in timekeeping and benefits administration.
Has experience using an HRIS and payroll software is an advantage.
  • Certification: CHRA would be an advantage (but not necessary)
  • Key Competencies and Skills Needed:
Understands and complies with government regulations and compliance related to compensation and benefits.
  • Strong ability to catch on minute details and make sense of it.
Ability to establish, prioritize, organize work to meet critical deadlines (timekeeping) manage multiple activities and may work well even under pressure;
  • Ability to write correspondence such as email, business letters, and other forms of communication that are professional and grammatically correct.
Ability to exercise sound independent judgment within established policies and guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

We only work on Mondays to Fridays, on a flexible daily schedule. Your weekends are yours to enjoy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php24,000.00 - Php27,000.00 per month
