Provide outpatient clinic consultation to all employees seeking medical attention- Provide appropriate emergency and first-aid management to patients on any medical condition or work-related trauma cases.
Coordinate referral of any medical / emergency case to a higher healthcare facility.
- Participate in the health examination of the employee
Provide treatment for occupational injuries and illnesses under the direction of a physician.- Provide competent nursing care for minor non-occupational illness and injuries
Review and assess employee Annual Physical Exam or health screening results. Provide guidance to employees with ongoing health problems and help them work within the framework of their limitations.
- Institute systematic follow-up of medical absences
Maintain complete, up-to-date and accurate clinic records- Prepare and provide regular reports including analysis of established illnesses, clinical assessment and recommendations to address problems of the employee.
Monitor and document work-related injuries and report to HR and management
- Assist and participate in developing adequate healthcare programs for the employees
Give health updates, awareness, counselling and education on how to detect and prevent medical illnesses.- Maintain clinic facilities and equipment
Ensure availability and accountability of clinic medicines and supplies including inventory tracking and weekly ordering.
- Participate in the maintenance of occupational health and safety by giving recommendations in the improvement of the working environment
Maintain a reporting and records system- Collaborate with the Human Resources team
Assist HR in the processing of health related benefits such as but not limited to HMO or insurance reimbursement claims.
Must be a Registered Nurse
- Must have at least 2 years experience as a Company Nurse/Occupational Health Nurse
Must possess strong clinical skills with a background in Occupational Health and/or Emergency Nursing- Good knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees, management and external healthcare providers
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support to employees facing health challenges
Excellent administrative and organizational skills- Ability to respond positively and adapt to changes in tasks
Can work independently
- Maintain confidentiality, proficiency in maintaining accurate and confidential medical records and documentation
Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams including HR, Facilities and management to promote a healthy work environment- Amenable to work on a project-based employment
Amenable to work on shifting schedule
