The Occupational Nurse will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and safety of employees by providing healthcare services and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. This role requires a proactive approach to workplace health management and a commitment to employee well-being.
Conduct regular health assessments and screenings for employees.
- Provide first aid and emergency care to employees in case of workplace injuries or illnesses.
Manage and maintain employee health records and medical files.- Develop and implement health and safety programs and policies.
Conduct health and safety training sessions for employees.
- Monitor and manage workplace hazards and risks.
Coordinate with management and safety officers to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.- Provide counseling and support to employees on health-related issues.
Liaise with external healthcare providers and specialists as needed.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to occupational health and safety.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
Certification in occupational health nursing is preferred.- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an occupational nurse or in a similar role.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle emergencies and provide effective first aid.- Proficiency in maintaining medical records and documentation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
