Company Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Company Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting company staff, clients, and goods in a safe and timely manner. The Company Driver will also ensure the vehicle is maintained in excellent condition and follow all traffic laws and regulations.

• Key Responsibilities:

Transport company staff and clients to and from specified locations safely.

• Deliver and pick up goods, documents, and packages to and from clients, suppliers, and other locations as required.

Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking oil, fuel, brakes, and lights.

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is always ready for use.

Plan routes and estimate travel times to ensure timely arrivals.

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, and practice safe driving habits.

Keep accurate records of travel logs, fuel usage, and maintenance reports.

• Assist with loading and unloading goods as needed.

Report any vehicle issues or incidents to management promptly.

• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.

• Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Proven experience as a company driver or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.

• Excellent driving skills and road safety awareness.

Ability to navigate using GPS and traditional maps.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Reliable, punctual, and able to handle unexpected situations.

• Physical ability to load and unload cargo as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent.

• Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.

• Familiarity with local routes and destinations.

Defensive driving certification.

• Working Conditions:

Work may require early morning, late evening, or weekend shifts.

• May involve long periods of driving and sitting.

Exposure to various weather conditions while driving.

• Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to [specific weight]).
