JOB DESCRIPTION:The primary responsibility of the Driver is to provide transportation for the company.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
Loading, transporting and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
Reviewing Delivery Receipt before and after delivery to ensure that orders/equipment are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.- Complete daily maintenance checks on company vehicles and notifies the head of any issues
Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
- Utilizing navigation apps to find the most optimal route.
Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.- Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.
Inspects returned vehicles for any damages or missing accessories
- Provide assistance in cleaning various areas at the site.
Other tasks may be assigned by the Immediate Supervisor.
Qualification:
- Proven experience as a Driver
A valid driver's license 1,2 & 3
Familiarity with GPS devices- Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
- Availability to occasionally take weekend
A polite and professional disposition- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
A high school diploma
