Tasks and Responsibilities:- Participate in the planning of both initiatives with the different teams of volunteers.
Execution, coordination and follow-up of the tasks needed to organize events like seminars, medical missions, nutrition programs, etc. acting in the cases needed as event planner and taking care of logistics, registration, budgeting, etc.- Coordination of meetings, redaction of minutes, etc.
Prepare general reports of activities and create a repository to properly archive them.
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to make these initiatives self-sustaining through fund-raising by researching foundations and corporations who would support our initiatives, writing grant applications and keeping a working relationship with them and through developing activities that generate income.
Coordinate payments and collection of receipts with the finance teams and supervise that proper reporting is produced.- Work in coordination with Communication and Marketing to achieve the goals of these initiatives and specifically assist the department by:
- Making sure the website is working properly and keeping constant communication with the service providers.
- Helping coordinating contributors to the website to make sure they produce the material (articles, blogs, videos, etc.) for uploading in the website.- Draft the operations manuals for the different initiatives and projects.
Inasmuch as related to scheduling, act as a de facto personal assistant for the director of the advocacies.
- Manage the office and make sure that we comply with the requirements of the office and the assets of the organization (condominium, car, etc.).
