We are seeking an experienced Community Manager to lead and grow our fan community across Reddit, Discord, and other social platforms. This role is for someone passionate about fostering community engagement, managing digital events, and serving as a bridge between our fans and the brand. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in both community management and project management, with a keen understanding of gaming and esports culture.
This is a full-time position and will follow US business working hours.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute club-related projects, ensuring seamless coordination and fulfillment of club activities
- Manage day-to-day interactions within the community across Reddit and Discord, facilitating growth, engagement, and meaningful discussions
- Moderate Reddit and Discord channels, run live discussion threads (focused on esports and apparel), and manage fan queries and feedback
- Organize fan-facing digital events like watch parties, giveaways, and tournaments
- Track the health and sentiment of the community across platforms and provide insights to enhance fan engagement
- Act as the public liaison, gathering fan feedback to inform company strategies and initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience building and managing communities on Discord and Reddit, with a deep understanding of community engagement strategies
- Familiarity with Reddit and Discord, and active membership in multiple online communities
- Ability to facilitate game-related discussions and handle direct-to-player interactions professionally
- Strong project management skills to handle club program initiatives and digital events
- Up-to-date knowledge of gaming and esports trends (preferred)
- English proficiency, excellent communication abilities, and an affinity for fan-facing digital interactions
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on fostering a vibrant and positive community
