JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESo Conceptualize, write, and produce social media posts, content and impact stories.
o Design content visuals and edit videos using available tools.
o Monitor online performance and engagement.
o Help gather information and materials and craft write-ups for publications.
o Take photos and videos during events.
o Conduct and transcribe interviews of event participants/attendees.
o Support live/real-time posting of events as needed.
- MEDIA MONITORING AND ENGAGEMENT
o Monitor and compile articles, features, and news with mentions of Habitat for Humanity Philippines.
o Help manage media invitations, registrations, and attendance at events.
o Coordinate media participation and requirements.
o Help manage stakeholders attending during events (e.g. ambassadors, celebrities, VIPs).
o Attend alignment meetings, ocular inspections, ingress and egress, as needed
o Actively participate in brainstorming sessions by suggesting ideas
o Coordinate with different units to accomplish assigned tasks.
o Ensure proper organization, inventory, and safekeeping of communications materials (e.g. marketing collaterals, banners, installations, etc).
o General support in other Marketing and Communications work.
- Education / Training: Taking up a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Communication Arts, Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations, Creative Writing, Marketing, Development Communications, or a related field
Exceptional copywriting, editing, content gathering, and visual storytelling skills
Adept in designing content visuals and video editing
Understanding of social media practices, etiquette, and trends in different platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube)
Social media and news savvy
Proficient in using Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and Sharepoint
Proficient in using designing and video editing tools (e.g. Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut)
Adept in using different messaging applications including but not limited to Telegram, Viber, WhatsApp, Messenger
Knowledge of basic photography and video documentation
