Communications and Marketing Manager

We are looking for a like-minded, like-hearted Communications and Marketing Manager who is passionate about advancing the Kingdom of God and serving off-grid communities nationwide by bringing renewable solutions for their development.

• Role Description

The Communications and Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the following functions:

• Who will ensure that messaging is updated and accurate in all marketing and outreach materials. Coordinate media events and speak on behalf of the organization with media outlets as needed.

Who will provide oversight of the marketing activities of the Solar Hub Operations group, ensuring consistency in branding.

• Who will work with Ventures for Fundraising (VFR) to define fundraising strategies, identify and execute communications strategies, processes, reports, and organization.

Who will be responsible for creating compelling marketing materials, communications, and fundraising activities, including planning fundraising events in collaboration with the Fundraising and Partnership Manager.

• Who will prepare and engage with the SVF Fundraising Committee to secure inputs, approvals, and support for SVF fundraising and communications strategies and activities, and will act as the secretariat for the committee, fundraising for the SVF organization and its existing program

• We're looking for candidate with the following competencies:

Has five (5) years of experience in social development sustainability (preferred)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position

Has experience in developing and presenting sustainable business concepts, training, and emerging technologies

• Has extensive knowledge of local, regional, and national emerging sustainable business strategies, ROI analysis, and other key sustainability tools and techniques
