Roles and Responsibilities:
- Drive Profitability and Accountability: Take full P&L responsibility for Commodities Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) activities in the Philippines, ensuring sustainable growth through strategic planning.
- Lead Commodities Strategy: Develop and implement annual strategies and budgets to propel the commodities and cargo business forward.
- Strengthen the Commodities Team: Enhance the effectiveness of the Commodities Marketing and Sales team.
- Optimize Service Delivery: Ensure profitable and high-quality delivery of testing, inspection, and certification services while adhering to all regulations.
- Drive New Service Development: Identify and execute plans for expanding our Commodities service portfolio.
- Develop Future Leaders: Mentor high-potential team members to build a pipeline of future leaders.
Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience: At least 20 years in the sector, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role, ideally within the Testing, Inspection, and Certification industry.
- P&L Experience: Proven track record of at least 3 years in a P&L role, preferably within Commodities, Cargo, Testing, and Inspection sectors.
- Industry Expertise: Extensive knowledge and background in Metals and Minerals; experience in the Commodities industry, particularly with Testing and Inspection in mining, metals, and minerals.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Philippines.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional customer-focused communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Leadership Capabilities: Demonstrated leadership with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
