Job Description:
We are looking for skilled butchers to provide high-quality meats and services to our clients customers. The Butcher will perform quality inspections, use meat grinders, knives, saws, and other tools to cut meat down into smaller portions, weigh, price, and package cuts, and ensure that displays and signage are attractive and eye-catching. You will also speak to customers to determine their needs, provide advice regarding proper cuts of meat and preparation methods, and coordinate pick ups or deliveries.
Job Qualifications:
- Must have a diploma or certification in Culinary disciplines;
With at least 1 year experience in the same position in reputable hotel;- Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes;
Proficient in maintaining a safe working environment & utilizing food safety plan;
- Must have expert cutting skills and knowledge of various cuts of meat;
Skilled in food preparation in different assigned dishes;- Strong hand-eye coordination;
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities; and
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment and to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of the team.
